Hey everyone! I realize dA isn't exactly the biggest literature scene but I have met a few people that I really enjoy talking to! I'm going to take a break from some of the bigger projects for about a week or two and put out a few comic shorts. This is just to change things up, maybe if someone likes an idea they could make some art for itXD All the shorts will be around 1-5 pages and tell a short story. 100 (non-extinct) Species Challenge This extreme challenge was loving created by me to try and get other artists out of their comfort zone. You get to pick a species to draw that falls under the category (all living animals are covered, only once, in this challenge) rather than having a set species. I'm BAAAAAAAAAAAACK!

So its been a while since I've been any kind of active on here, but I had a kid and bought a house so things have been crazy. I think things are settling down a little - we're settled into our house and the baby is *slightly* more independent. All that to say I want to start making time to draw again. I haven't had any inspiration in a while but recently found an old notebook full of things I had planned on drawing. Mostly fandom alphabets - fantasy alphabet, supernatural alphabet, doctor who alphabet etc - I think I'll start with the fantasy one. I found my sketch book from 8th grade, from when I first started drawing. I have kept every sketchbook i've had since then but that was the first one that I completely filled out. I have some others but I'm thinking about uploading some of my old stuff (it'll probably go into scraps) but its always fun to see where you started.

Getting Married!

Guys holy crap guys, I'm going to be a married lady in a week! Sorry I haven't been updating, things are hella crazy right now but soon I'll have time to sit down and draw again! Its been a crazy year, but i'm so excited. I've moved/helped my fiance move 5x in the last few months (hopefully we are done moving for a while). I haven't picked up a pencil to draw in a while its kind of killing me but gah theres just no time. In a week though I'll get to live in my house and I'll have 3 nights a week to draw stuff :) Hopefully I won't waste all that time playing through Mass Effect and tumbling haha Anyway, I'm still alive just really REALLY FRI

And you have a lot of great stuff going on in your art. The faces you draw are particularly good -- you draw such strong, emotive expressions, and you capture some of the unique, quirky qualities of the face that gives your characters and the subjects you draw their own personalities. Also, the energy in their faces, and in a lot of the poses you draw, too, brings your drawings to life!
