Just doodling on my day off, I like this character though. I'll move this to scraps once I get a more finished picture done.

Oh man, I love that expression! XD I love that scowl and that disgusted, "...really?" look in her eyes! I love how her whole face seems to twist in that expression, in reacting to whatever she sees; her raised eyebrows twist up her forehead and push her eyelids to cover a little bit more of her eyes, and her grimace pushes up against her cheek and quirks her nose up, too. I love how the expression affects her whole face like that -- it makes the expression come off stronger, louder, more potently, and it feels much more lifelike seeing it cast across her whole face. Like, you can tell her features are a part of her face, not just marks put on a separate canvas that is her face. Does that make sense? I like how everything is cohesive and works together to sell the expression.

And I like how the body language works with it, too. There's this kinda relaxed feel to her arms and her legs; her arms, her hands have fallen to rest in front of her like that -- it makes me think that she's just gone from being tense, careful, alert, with the gun held out at eye level like she's a cop darting her eyes around looking for bad guys. Then whatever she's seen that makes her go "...really?" has calmed her down, and this shot is just after she's relaxed and lowered her gun and stopped being so tensed up. I like the stance of her legs because it looks really naturally -- the way her weight is balanced by the back leg and front, like she's rocking back on the back leg just a little -- it all seems to feel like a convincing, lifelike pose.

Another thing I noticed was her hands holding the gun. They look really good! The shapes and the way the finger wrap around the gun and the other hand looks really well done.

The only things I would want to critique on are the parts that aren't finished yet, so I really like what you've done with this sketch! I hope you do finish it sometime, because it's awesome! I love the expression and mood and emotion that comes through on her face and in her pose. I like how lifelike it all feels. Great job. : )
